A production from Micromusic Netherlands and ON, namely C64 Orchestra. Micromusic is a webcommunity where its roots deeply lie in the retro-games music. Within the micromusic-scene, game computers not only function as a game computer but as an musicial instrument. For this production, C64 Orchestra turn their attention to the ground-breaking 80’s computer, the Commodore 64. Recent facination in the Commodore 64, not only as a retro-game computer has fueled compelling interest as an instrument in the dance-scene (think of the Dutch hit from the artist Bastian – You' ve got my love many years ago). For this production, C64 Orchestra approached two of the most experianced C64-users from the 1980s, Rob Hubbard and Jeroen Tel. The current work of these two Commodore 64 musicians intend their compositions to be exploited with the aide of a classic orchestra. Midway 2006 will see this production premièred.
